Originele en volledige bijschrift in het Engels:
Granada Relocation Center, Amache, Colorado. In his Santa Claus mask, wearing a pair of red pajamas, Chief Steward Matsumoto of Block 7-H at the Granada Relocation Center was Santa Claus for Christmas Eve. The children had no trees in their barracks room homes, but each mess hall provided a Christmas tree, and presents, many sent from Church groups throughout the country, were distributed to the children.
